Overview

This page tracks my hands-on cybersecurity project work as it happens - a mix of TryHackMe progress, home lab exercises, and other practical tasks that build on the theory from my NCFE studies.

TryHackMe Progress

A running log of rooms completed and what each one covered - the skills practiced, the tools used, and what I took away from it. I’ll update this section as I work through new rooms and paths.

Home Lab & Practical Exercises

Using an old laptop and computer as a home lab server, I’ve been practising setting up and defending small environments safely, running virtual machines across different Linux distributions to get comfortable outside of a single OS.

Tools & Terminal Skills

Building confidence navigating file systems and running core terminal commands, and getting hands-on with tools like Wireshark and basic virtualization and automation with Ansible.
